This website is operated by HEMANTHVA VENTURES LTD (“I”, “me”, “my”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC744785), registered office Clyde Offices, 2nd Floor, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 1BP. This site is information, not a contract or advice

Everything here describes my services and the security standards I work with in general terms. It is not professional, legal or security advice for your specific situation, and nothing on this site is a binding offer. Any work I do for you is governed by a separate written agreement we both sign, not by this website. Where I mention typical timelines, outcomes or what a standard involves, those are general guides; your engagement letter sets out what actually applies to you.

Using the site properly

You may view and use this site for your own legitimate purposes. You agree not to:

• use it unlawfully, or in a way that could damage, disable or impair it;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
• introduce malware, or probe, scan or test the site’s security without my written permission;
• scrape, harvest or systematically extract its content by automated means.

(Given what I do for a living, I’d rather you just ask.)

Intellectual property

The content, design, text and branding on this site are owned by HemanthVA Ventures Ltd or used with permission, and are protected by law. You may read the site and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or reuse the content for your own purposes without my prior written consent.

Links to other sites

Where I link to third-party sites (such as the NCSC, IASME, the ICO or standards bodies), those links are for convenience. I don’t control those sites and am not responsible for their content or availability.

No warranties

I keep this site accurate and current as far as I reasonably can, but I provide it “as is”. Security standards and frameworks change, and I don’t warrant that everything here is complete, error-free or up to date at the moment you read it. Rely on a written engagement, not the website, for decisions about your business.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on its general content. Liability for any consulting work is dealt with in the separate agreement for that work, not here.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed; using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts of Scotland have jurisdiction, without affecting any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
